INA Cylindrical Roller Bearing

Single row cylindrical roller bearings with cages are units comprising solid inner and outer rings and cylindrical roller and cage assemblies. Both sides of the outer ring have rigid ribs or no ribs, while the inner ring has one or two rigid ribs or is designed to have no ribs. The cage prevents the cylindrical rollers from touching each other during rolling. Cylindrical roller bearings are available with or without cages.

"Classic" cylindrical roller bearings have higher radial load capacity and high rigidity. In addition to bearing high radial loads, cylindrical roller bearings can also withstand axial loads if used as semi-locating or locating bearings. Radial loads are transmitted through the raceways, while axial loads are transmitted through the rolling element faces and ribs, which of course limit the axial load. This is where Schaeffler starts to work!

To significantly extend the service life of the bearing under axial load. The special curvature of the end face of this roller allows the load to be distributed over a larger surface area. The curved roll face increases the size of the contact surface and therefore greatly reduces the contact pressure.
